Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our products and services
What makes this different from regular multivitamins?

Most multivitamins are unisex with a pink label slapped on for the women's version. This one actually has women-specific actives: Shatavari, Cranberry, Evening Primrose Oil, plus higher folate and iron consideration. The formula was built around what women's bodies actually need at different life stages, not just relabeled.

Can I take this if I'm trying to conceive?

The 220mcg of folate is supportive for women planning pregnancy, but if you're actively trying to conceive, please consult your gynecologist. They may recommend a higher dose of folic acid (typically 400–800mcg) plus prenatal-specific guidance. This isn't a prenatal multivitamin.

Is this safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding? No — do not take this during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

It contains Ashwagandha, Ginseng, and Turmeric extract, which are not recommended during those periods. Switch to a doctor-prescribed prenatal vitamin instead. The label clearly states this.

Why is there only 12mg of Iron? I thought women need more.

Iron requirements vary widely — heavily menstruating women may need more, post-menopausal women need much less. Excess iron without need can cause constipation and other issues. We dosed conservatively. If you have diagnosed iron deficiency, work with your doctor on a higher-dose iron supplement rather than relying on a multivitamin.

What does Shatavari do?

Shatavari is a traditional Ayurvedic herb used to support women's reproductive and hormonal health, particularly during menstrual cycles and around menopause. It has a long history of use in Indian women's wellness and is one of the most well-studied female-specific adaptogens.

Why Evening Primrose Oil in a multivitamin?

Evening Primrose Oil is rich in GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid), an omega-6 fatty acid traditionally used to support skin health and women's hormonal balance, particularly around premenstrual symptoms. Most multivitamins don't include it because it's expensive.

Will this help with PMS or period symptoms?

Some women find that the combination of Magnesium Glycinate, B6, Evening Primrose, and Shatavari helps with mild PMS symptoms over consistent use. It's not a treatment for severe symptoms or conditions like PCOS or endometriosis — see a doctor for those.

Why Cranberry extract?

Cranberry has a long history of use in supporting urinary tract health in women. The 10:1 concentrated extract delivers more active compounds than juice or whole cranberry powder.

I'm vegetarian and constantly tired. Will this help?

Vegetarian women in India are commonly deficient in B12, Iron, and Vitamin D — three nutrients critical for energy. This formula covers all three with bioavailable forms (Methylcobalamin B12, Ferrous Sulphate Iron, D3). Many women notice steadier energy within 3–4 weeks. If fatigue is severe, get blood work done — supplements support, they don't replace medical diagnosis.

Can I take this with my contraceptive pill?

Some hormonal contraceptives can affect vitamin levels (especially B6, B9, and B12). Generally a multivitamin like this is fine, but please confirm with your doctor — especially if you take any other medication.

Why is the protein content 0g if it has so many ingredients?

This is a multivitamin, not a protein supplement. Vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts in milligram doses contribute almost nothing to caloric or protein content. The 3.3 kcal per tablet is essentially nothing.

I'm 19. Is this for me?

The label is for women 18+. The formula is designed around adult women's needs — your nutritional requirements at 19 may be different from at 35 or 50. If you have specific concerns at your age, talk to a nutritionist or doctor.

Will the Ashwagandha make me sleepy during the day?

No, taken with breakfast or lunch. Ashwagandha helps the body adapt to stress — it doesn't sedate you. If you take it at night, some women find it supports sleep. Take it whenever it fits your day.

Why is Folate listed instead of Folic Acid?

Folate is the natural form. Many women have a genetic variation (MTHFR) that makes it harder for them to convert folic acid into usable folate. Including folate directly means it's bioavailable for everyone, not just people with optimal metabolism.

Will this affect my menstrual cycle?

For most women, no significant cycle changes. The herbs in this formula — Shatavari, Ashwagandha — are traditionally used to support cycle regularity, not disrupt it. If you notice any cycle changes after starting, stop and consult a doctor.

How is this different from a prenatal vitamin?

Prenatal vitamins have much higher folic acid (400–800mcg vs our 220mcg), higher iron, and skip ingredients like Ashwagandha and Ginseng that aren't recommended during pregnancy. This is a daily multivitamin for adult women not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

Why this product is in a pouch?

Tablet-based supplements like this one don't need rigid bottle protection. Pouches use significantly less plastic, ship lighter, and are 100% recyclable.

We use what's right for the product. Not what's cheapest, and not what's trendy.
